THE ORIGINAL HIP HOP

These are the best. I didn't think I would be as excited as I am about the new muppet movie but I am. Adidas has released these awesome new Kermit kicks complete with Kermit's signature collar and likeness but also one of the most clever tag lines I've seen in a long time: "THE ORIGINAL HIP HOP". I think these will make it a little easier being green. These make me smile. Hoping for some Beaker Sneakers next.

Hometown Pride

I (Charlie) was invited to participate in a new "hyper-local" t-shirt contest. So inspired by my hometown and vintage labels, I came up with this design. I guess the judges liked it cause now you can buy it WOOOHOOOO!!!

MAPLE BACON CUPCAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had a maple bacon cupcake at Sweetness Bakery on Sunset and 95th. They only have it on Sundays. Go early because they go fast. Also had a goat cheese and honey grilled cheese sandwich. Both amazing. Sunday, so good, so far.

Happy St. Patty's

This is kind of a great holiday because it can be more or less free. You don't have any obligation to give any gifts or buy cards. At most you are expected to wear green. So in the spirit of fun we sent out some coasters with the words "Have your last drink of the night on us." We recommend a tall glass of water. On the back of the coaster we added a Limerick with a blank line for the recipients to fill in. We will post all the ones submitted here on the Doink Newzen Blauggen. Here is the limerick in case you get inspired.

There once was a man from Miami,

The logo they chose is the "Fun and Fit as a Family" Logo which we did for the South Beach Food and Wine Festival.
